solar powered melting machines and vomero trainer purses…

Back in May 2024 we patterned up in Downtown Los Angeles at Bodega for the launch of Utopia’s new collection with Nike ReCreation. Everything was made from end of life dead stock waste from LA. Some crazy one of one’s. Imagine a purse made from vomero trainers. CRAZY.

We bought in our injection mould machine powered by the sun, shout out to Solar Punks Club and created a beading workshop. It went down like a storm. Young and older peoples getting stuck in and making something cool and creative with their hands and learning about small scale recycling with plastic waste.
