We’re Are You Mad – the Waste Design Studio, Agency, and Consultancy that transform discarded materials into objects, furniture, and shop fits, and we’re redefining the role of waste collectors as creative professionals. And now, we’re looking for a Middleweight Project Manager / Producer to join the crew at our warehouse in Hackney Wick. This isn’t your typical 9-to-5 – it’s a high-paced, dynamic role where no two days will look the same. You’ll be working with some of the world’s most forward-thinking brands, scoping and producing activations that challenge the status quo. You’ll also be leading our internal projects, from community clean-ups to collaborations that push the boundaries of sustainability and design.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Producing Brand Activations: You’ll be the mastermind behind brand activations that turn heads and make noise, from concept to execution.

• Managing Internal Projects: From waste clean-ups to experimental collaborations, you’ll be driving our internal initiatives that redefine what sustainability can look like.

• Juggling Clients and Deadlines: We work with brands that get it, but it’ll be your job to keep everything on track – on time and on budget.

• Travelling and Connecting: You’ll be out and about, meeting clients, scouting locations, and making connections that count.

• Middleweight Project Manager / Producer: You’ve got agency experience and you know how to manage projects from start to finish.

Who We Are:
Are You Mad was founded by Nadeem Daniel, James Suckling, and Lotte Selwood in 2021. We started by building a recycling centre on Carnaby Street, London – recycling over 20 tonnes of plastic waste in one year, employing and up-skilling young people, and partnering with some of the world’s biggest brands to promote circularity. We don’t just talk about change – we make it happen.
